Letter from the CEO

Dear friends of HawkSoft,

It is my extreme pleasure to be writing our inaugural newsletter. I speak everyday, one-on-one, with HawkSoft customers and friends, but this opportunity to speak broadly has me reflecting on how grateful HawkSoft is to have a relationship with each one of you. You matter to us. Pushing the Independent Agent channel forward is part of our core mission because we understand that if we all are united, we have a powerful megaphone to share the advantages Independent Agents offer to people looking to manage risk.

2017 will be an exciting year for HawkSoft. We are making a big investment in product development, user groups, education for our agencies, and cloud technologies. Here’s what you can expect to see in 2017:

  • HawkSoft Rater. Yes, our very own Auto and Home rater integrated into HawkSoft CMS.
  • E-Signature. One-click integration will allow you to send one or more files for electronic signature. Your clients can sign right on their mobile device. You will have a Suspense waiting for you to review their signed documents.
  • Secure file-sharing. Send encrypted documents by email, directly from Microsoft Outlook.
  • Business Center Reports. Real-time reports on Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) for the metrics that matter to agency retention, growth, operational efficiency, and your book of business.
  • Dashboard. Glance at your important business metrics every time you log in. Customizable tiles on your redesigned Start Page will show Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) that matter to your role in the agency. For example, an agency principal may want a visual representation of all policies produced last month while a producer may want information on their policies renewing next month.
  • Automated Tasks. Automatically trigger actions based on user-defined events. For example, automatically send an email or text message prior to renewal, cancellations, coverage changes, life milestones, and more.
  • Drip Marketing. Trigger a sequence of emails (known as “drips”) to your clients. You control the triggers and the emails to send.

There is a lot more to look forward to in 2017 beyond product updates. HawkSoft had the pleasure of hosting the HawkSoft User Group Committee in November. Together, we are looking at ways to offer further education about insurance technology, agency growth best-practices, and how industry changes affect your agency. More details on how your agency can take advantage of this on a regional and national level will be coming in the months ahead.

We are also building HawkSoft University, which will serve as a robust and ongoing vehicle for education for your new and current agency staff to get most out of HawkSoft.
