HawkSoft

WORKSTATION

  • Minimum Memory: 8 GB (16 GB recommended)
  • Workstation Operating Systems:
    • Windows 10® -- Microsoft is extending support until October 12, 2027
    • Windows 11®
    • Windows Server 2016® and newer
    • Limited support for macOS (HawkSoft on macOS will require third-party services. See more information here)
    • The following versions are NOT supported
      • Windows RT and Windows 10S
      • Windows 7® -- Microsoft ended support on January 14, 2020
      • Windows 8.1®  -- Microsoft ended support on January 10, 2023
  • Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge is required for HawkLink
  • Minimum Monitor Resolution: 1280x720
  • Internet Access required on all workstations
  • Required Components:
    • .NET Framework 4.8 (must be installed prior to HawkSoft installation)

 

NETWORK

Network
  • Wireless N, AC, AX, or BE networks will work as long as bandwidth requirements are met and there is not wireless interference.
    • Older Wireless Network Types may not be able to support the required bandwidth to consistently run HawkSoft.
  • Per office minimum: 5 Mb/s Download and 2 Mb/s Upload, plus 1 Mb/s Download per user in office
    • Maximum delay: 200 ms latency
    • Recommended: 50 ms or lower latency

ACCOUNTING

  • HawkSoft supports the transfer of Trust information to the following versions of QuickBooks®:
    • QuickBooks® Pro 2024 (Intuit ended support for QuickBooks® Pro 2023 on 5/31/26)
    • QuickBooks® Online

MICROSOFT OFFICE INTEGRATION

  • Microsoft 2019, 2021, and 2024 "Professional" or "Home & Business"
    • Microsoft is ending support for Server 2016 on January 12, 2027
  • Microsoft 365 Windows Apps
  • The following editions are NOT supported:
    • Microsoft Office 2013
    • Microsoft Office Home
    • Office Home Premium
    • Office Home & Student
    • Trial editions
  • Microsoft Office must be purchased separately.
